Goat Milk Bar & French Red Clay

Goat milk contains alpha-hydroxy acids, such as lactic acid, which help remove dead skin cells from the surface of your skin. This natural and gentle exfoliation reveals fresh, new skin cells that are healthier, smoother and younger looking. Alpha-hydroxy acids are effective exfoliators because they break down the bonds that hold the dead skin cells together. Also included into this fantastic soap is Shea Butter added at 2.7% of this recipe its high concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins, also a great anti-inflammatory with healing properties, using shea butter on your body, especially your face, can condition, tone, and soothe your skin. Olive oil & Rice bran oil added at equal quantities of 24.7% make this bar an extremely luxurious bar, Rice Bran Oil improves circulation, evens out skin tone, and minimizes the appearance of dark circles and puffiness around the eye area. It increases skin’s natural regeneration, encourages moisture retention, and soothes irritation. Fresh clean smell comes from our Black Oud fragrance, Top notes are Incense, Cumin and Nutmeg, middle notes are Agarwood (Oud) and Labdanum, base notes are Civet, Castoreum, Amber, Sandalwood, Vanilla and Cedar.

Why I Include Red French Clay

Rich in kaolinite, Illite montmorillonite and calcite, French Red Clay is best suited for normal to oily skin types. Appearance is a  fine red coloured powder. Benefits include cleanses and sloughs off dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, leaving it refreshed and toned with a rejuvenated look.

How does soap work?

The purpose of washing is to remove the outer layer of oils and fats that harbour germs and rinse them away from the skin. Soap is a surfactant which means that when used on the skin, the soap molecules bind water & oil molecules together. After cleansing with soap, rinsing away the lather takes the oil and germs with it.

Instructions:

Lather with warm water and wash off to leave skin cleansed and nourished. When not in use keep the soap bar in a dry and cool area.
Warning: Avoid contact with eyes, if product gets in eyes rinse immediately with plenty of warm water. Not suitable for children under 36 months. For external use only.

Caution:

As with all soap products avoid contact with eyes. If product gets into eyes, rinse well with clean water. If rash or irritation occurs, stop use and consult physician.
